Today in Secod Life I traveled around looking for new residents and offering my services in orientating them and giving them tips on how to use the Second Life controls. I also asked them what was their main purpose for being in Second Life and got some very interesting responses:
1. 10% were in Second Life because they read about it and wanted to try it out
2. 50% were in Second Life because they were bored
3. 30% were in Second Life trying to make money
4. 5% were in Second Life to make friends
5. And 5% were in Second Life connecting with friends
