Attempts to purchase Linden Dollars inworld and from the Second Life web site are being rejected. The service has been down for one hour. The outage may have been caused by an upgrade to the funding validity check system as many users are now finding that their funding source needs additional validation or a new funding source. After correcting the information a full restart and as long as 15-30 minutes is required for the Second Life system to allow payments from the updated funding source. Here is your Second Life Update.
