Second Life and Microsoft Do Not Play Nice
Like many other open source options, Second Life and Microsoft do not play nice. This issue can also be tallied up to the many vulnerabilities often discoverd by the many Microsoft hating open source programmers out there. It has been discovered that Internet Explorer can be used to steal authentican credentials for Second Life grid logins. The hack simply triggers a Second Life viewer and sends the login credentials to a third party. This is a major setback for Slurl and the other web sites which typically offer coordinates to their area as people will be less likely to click on web based viewer launches of Second Life given this vulnerability. Expect much more Second Life identity theft.
