A rolling restart was completed for the grid toeday. The rolling restart completed an upgrade from yesterday. Each region received a 5 minute warning prior to the restart.

IBM expands in Second Life. The IBM Second Life center expanded with representatives form different countries. The new countries will include Australia, Malaysia, and Singapore.

Create your face in Second Life. CyberExtruder has created technology to convert 2D photos into 3d faces digitally in Second Life. The photo realistic avatar face sells for ten dollars US. This will change the anonymous nature of Second Life. Some claim that Linden Labs will license this technology.
