The last of the “Faces of Faith in America” event was completed July 29th. The event included UC Berkeley journalits and featured Second Life worshippers and theologians. The event was held in Nowhereville.

There is a flying holland of tour. This self guided tour is conducted in a wooden shoe. The tour was created by Marvin Benelli who works for the Dutch bank ING. After the tour you can bike the ground area you just flew over for L$5. Check it out!

All Europe users are shut out from Second Life temporarily. The shut out is related to the search outage and is a temporary one until the grid is repaired. This outage was issued to all Level 3 users including many European users.

Search in Second Life is down. The search has been temporarily disabled. Searches for places and groups are currently disabled as of 1:40 am PDT. The service will be down will Grid issues are worked on.

Inworld services slowed down today. This iscluded the failure of multiple services such as teleporting, mapping, search, and assets. Linden balances were stalled at “Loading…†and required a logout.
The problem was fixed after several hours.

The Linden Support Portal was down today. The outage began at 6:45 am PDT. Affected were the knowledge base and live chat areas. It is time for Linden Labs to move the different parts of their business to the four corners of the world.
