I have so many current accounts at so many different banks that it is almost dizzying. I do this to allow the maximum amount of flexibility and take advantage of good programs and offerings. What I have learned is that Compass Bank is the absolute worst of them all and will turn their “free checking” into the highest bank charges and most frustrating experience you have ever had. Okay so I closed the Compass Bank account. The best way to determine a good bank is to experience it and watch out for the many tricky charges. If this happens you can reclaim bank charges or just close the account and bank somewhere else.
