The PayPal service is all-around great with many new improvements and the ability to withdraw up to $400 per day from a PayPal ATM debit card.
But there is still a HUGE problem with Paypal. Namely:
“Until they have verified their account, the amount of money a new user can send through PayPal is subject to a Sending Limit of $2,000. To verify their account, a new user must confirm their email address and confirm a bank account.”
This is just a way for Paypal to FORCE customers to sign up with them instead of just acting like a payment provider. (I believe there is also a restriction on the number of payments and unverified user can make).
Is it not enough that Paypal makes 3% and interest on every transaction? Isn’t $2,000 an unreasonable limit for an “unverified” account that runs so many address verification and credit card security checks it makes Bank of America look insecure?
PLEASE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD PAYPAL increase this 5 year old $2,000 limit to at least a relevant number for today such as $10,000 or $2,000 a month!
