LindeX removes PayPal access from inworld transactions
Linden Labs announced on their blog Tuesday that PayPal is having issues processing LindeX transactions. As a result Linden Labs has temporarily disabled PayPal payments leaving only gift credit or credit card options. This is a death blow for inworld transactions and I expect a huge drop in LindeX transactions (provided stats are correctly updated).
Given the history and outages of SecondLife and the availability and durability of Paypal the problem is most likely on the part of SecondLife. (although paypal recently did some updates).
In an update Paypal transactions were reenabled from the viewer but not from the web and credit card transactions are slow (whoops Linden Labs admits fault).
Hopefully this vital lifeblood will be fixed soon.
